What areas do you serve?
We currently only serve those within the KC metro and surrounding areas. Please see coverage map.
Do you set up at campgrounds or apartments?
We currently do not set up at campgrounds, parks, or other public common spaces.
What if I live outside the current service area?
We may be able to accommodate you for an additional fee. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.
How much space do I need for the tent?
We need at least 17x17 ft of grass/dirt for the tent and an additional 3ft around the base for support ropes.
Where can my tent be set up?
For the ideal experience, it is best to have a level firm area. Close to a power source is preferred.
Can I reserve multiple tents?
Yes, depending on availability.
How many people can the tent sleep?
About 5-6, depending on the age/size. We have different bed set ups for you to choose from. You can also utilize floor space for more sleeping room with BYOS (bring your own sleeping bag).
How does bedding work?
Our beds come with standard bed sheets, pillows, and a light comforter.
When do you set up/tear down?
For Backyard Glamping, we will always be set up by 3pm. “Check out” is the following morning after reservation . Pick up is after 10am. Depending on various factors, we set up and take down between 10am - 3pm. We will send you a text the day of your booking and day of pick up with an ETA.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery & set up is included for locations within our standard coverage area. Contact us if you are outside this area as we may be able to accommodate on a case by case basis.
What if severe weather is expected?
The canvas tent is 100% rainproof. If light rain is expected, we will set up as normal. If severe wind or lightning is expected, you can reschedule the day of your booking. Reschedule dates are based on availability.
What about COVID-19?
Hard surfaces are disinfected. Rugs & non-washable fabrics are sprayed with a natural disinfectant. All linens are washed and sanitized between each guest with hypoallergenic detergents. We also ensure a distanced drop off & pick up.
How do I pay for this experience?
You will be prompted to pay on the booking page. We accept all major credit cards.
Can I cancel my reservation?
You can receive a full refund if you contact us at minimum 14 days before your booking date. If you cancel less than 14 days of your booking date, the full amount paid can be applied to a different date. If notified less than 7 days prior to your booking date no refunds or date changes will be applied.

Happy Glamping KC is an overnight rental service. Tent(s) will be set up by 3pm on booking date (unless otherwise requested and agreed upon) and will be picked up the following day after 10am.
Reservation date is not secured until deposit payment of 25% of total is complete. The remaining balance will be auto-drafted from original payment method seven days before reservation date. Contact us if you need to use a separate payment method. By accepting you authorize Happy Glamping KC to withdraw remaining balance seven days before reserved date.
Deposit payments are non-refundable unless notified of cancellation two weeks (14 days) prior to reservation date. Transaction fee will be subtracted from total amount prior to completing refund. A full credit can be applied to a new date if notified at least 10 days before the reservation date. If cancellation is requested within seven days of reservation date, customer forfeits 25% deposit and will be charged the remaining balance. Backyard Glamping reservations can be re-scheduled due to severe weather (heavy rain, lightning, wind, hail, or snow.) Reschedule dates are based on availability.
Rental Item Care And Damage:
Customer agrees to complete a standard waiver prior to set up and will ensure the care to the tenants and its contents. By completing this reservation, customer authorizes Happy Glamping KC to withdraw funds from payment method on file for all damages and theft to the tent(s), beds, picnic table(s), projector, and all supplies delivered to customers as part of your glamping experience. (We are rational people, will not charge you unless there is something legitimately damaged or missing.)
There is no smoking allowed in any form ( cigarettes, marijuana, vape, e-cigs) inside or around the tent area. Any signs (smoke smell, burns, etc) of smoking will result in an automatic $500 fee charged to the payment method on file.
Food And Beverage Policy:
By consuming food and beverages inside and around the tent the customer (you) assume all responsibility that are caused by spills, accidents, and the like. Any excessive stains, spills, and damages are subject to cleaning fees. By completing deposit payment you authorize Happy Glamping KC to withdraw funds from the original payment method for any and all damage caused while tent is in your possession.
Animals And Pets:
We Strongly discourage pets in/around the tent(s) area. Customer/s (you) assume all responsibility for damages caused to the tent(s) and contents by the pet, be it yours or any affiliate party (urine, excessive pet hair, chewing, etc.) By completing deposit payment, you authorize Happy Glamping KC to withdraw funds from the original payment method for any and all damage caused while tent(s) is in your possession.
All other liabilities are assumed responsibility by the customer (you,) and are not entitled to sue the company, Happy Glamping KC for any reason. Happy Glamping KC is fully licensed & insured.
